THE CHALLENGE: The prior product, an awareness kit consisting of a box with t-shirt and sunglasses, was not a big seller and the messaging, while clever, was not immediately obvious to customers. The challenge was to refresh the design aesthetics and clarify the messaging to encourage sales and the use of this kit at activity-based events like Take Back the Night and 5K fundraisers.
THE SOLUTION: The new kit celebrates the awareness colors of an assortment of issues ( for example, the colors purple PMS 268 and teal PMS 321 are for domestic violence awareness). The kit now features messaging that calls for action, and draws inspiration from the design aesthetic of running culture and tech accessories for running aficionados.
THE RESULT: Within one year of release with the new graphics, this kit saw in increase in sales by 4.5x from the prior year's sales.
